hippity, hoppity, Easter's on its way...

Easter 2009 is just about here, folks! We are three Sundays and counting! This is a great opportunity that lies before us, one placed at our feet by God to see what we will do with it. So, what are we going to do with it? Easter is the time of year when people who don't know Jesus and don't go to church will most likely be thinking about him and what it all means. To turn our heads on this great challenge to us from God would be like turning down a trillion bucks (you could say...God's stimulus package to you)! You know what I pray ever single day? I ask God to help me see the world and love people as he does. I know that my human tendency is to NOT do that. You can probably relate, right? Especially when the dude cuts you off in traffic or the lady at the checkout messes up your order. But these folks were made by God...in his image, too! He died for them on the cross just like he died for you and me. He loves them the same as he does us! And...now that you and I are his followers, we are to do what he does and...well...follow! That means loving like he does, caring like he does, serving like he does. Which brings us back to Easter 2009. Here's a great opportunity to make a difference in someone's life...A BIG DIFFERENCE! You can help their life change forever...eternally...and give them life from death! Now that's what I call a gift! So, I'll ask it again...What are you going to do with the opportunity to help folks discover Jesus?
